Aspen-Snowmass

Aspen-Snowmass is known worldwide for its amazing amenities as well as incredible terrain. The area has a total of four ski resorts within a couple mile radius: Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk Mountain, and Snowmass. Buttermilk is the perfect mountain for beginner and intermediate skiers and riders. Aspen Mountain is a local favorite, located right above town. Not many have heard of this uniquely named ski resort. Located in the San Juan Mountain Range, Purgatory Resort is around 30 minutes from the town of Durango. The mountain has over 1,600 skiable acres and 105 trails to explore. It is known for its unique terrain mix of steep tree runs and wide open groomers. The resort itself rivals bigger, more well known ski resorts in quality. Amenities include a heated pool, hot tub, fitness center, wifi, free parking, as well as penthouse suites.
