1) Hiking

Hiking is the most barebones summer activity. It is the perfect way to see landscapes from new perspectives, all while getting great exercise. 2) Camping

What could be better than ending your hike with a starry night sky? Camping has been an integral part of many people’s childhoods. Whether it was with the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, or just on family trips, most people can grasp that a bad day camping beats a good day just about anywhere else. Camping can be done in an RV, but sleeping in a tent under the stars is the best way to appreciate Earth’s natural beauty. 3) Paddleboarding

If you’re looking to get out on the water, there is no better way than on a paddleboard. Paddleboarding can be characterized as zen fitness. It is both an extremely relaxing activity, and a great workout. Whether you are in a lake, a river or on the ocean, it is fairly easy to find your balance. Once you get the hang of it, you’ll enjoy a whole new perspective than what you may be accustomed to on the shore.

4) Mountain Biking

Mountain biking is an activity that will be sure to check all the boxes for adrenaline junkies. Mountain biking can be done in two main fashions, downhill with a ski lift or cross country which includes biking up and down the mountain or simply tackling long trails. Depending on where you are located you can find some great cross country spots to visit streams, rivers and even waterfalls which will help you cool down after a long ride! If that isn’t your style, downhill will be sure to get your blood pumping. It doesn’t require the same effort at pedaling up a mountain. However, learning to control your bikes at high speeds does take work and practice. Be sure to start small and work your way up before you start hitting all the jumps in the park.

5) Kayak Fishing

There is no better way to wrap up a summer list or summer day than with some fishing. Depending on where you are located, stream fly fishing or lake bass fishing you can have some amazing summer catches that you can even bring home for a good meal! Kayak fishing is a bucket list item you must try. Fishing is an extremely relaxing activity and a great way to soak up some sun or watch a sunset or sunrise.
